Solovic Named among Top Small Business Twitter Influencers
Susan Solovic was named as one of “10 experts every small business reporter should follow on Twitter,” on the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism website.
In her roundup of the top small business experts on Twitter, Lindsey Wisniewski said, “Solovic mostly shares stories from outlets like Forbes and Fox Business, but also reports on a number of issues like why women-owned businesses aren’t growing and how small companies can avoid making mistakes on social media.”
The Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism was founded in 2003 and since that time has trained more than 22,000 journalists and educators. The center is headquartered at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in Phoenix. Its goal is to improve media reporting in the areas of the economy and business.
Rounding out the top Twitter accounts to follow for small business news and insights, according to Wisniewski’s article, are Rhett Buttle, Ruth Simon, Melinda Emerson, Anita Campbell, Barry Moltz, Stella Fayman, Gene Marks, Doug and Polly White, and Jim Blasingame.
It’s not Solovic’s first appearance on a list of top small business experts to follow on the micro-blogging social media platform. She is consistently listed among those named in Evan Carmichael’s list of “Small Business Experts to Follow on Twitter.”
Along with her work in the social media, Solovic posts regular success tips on her website, SusanSolovic.com, and works with a number of major corporations, such as Samsung, Staples and AT&T, to help them better meet the needs of the small business community. She is also a noted keynote speaker at business events and often appears on network news shows, such as the Fox Business Network.
